Hello, today I have updated my Ripples Maker setup. It is a very fast way to get ripples and real droplets bounces on a water surface.
You can also use the method to create bullet holes or other kinds of spots.
Now it is fully made for Blender 2.61 and generates tileables animated textures. I added this missing feature after an idea/request of Yoyoz, on Octane’s forum.
It is very faster to use compared to Dynamic paint settings, but ripples are not synchronized with the rain. It can be an alternative or complementary tool with Dynamic paint according to what effect you want.
