Roads/motorway workflow

I’m struggling with non destructive motorway workflow. Jest simple extrude along the curve but with intersections (like motorway exit). I can’t find any advice on the net. Can someone propose some kind of workflow I should try? I’m really stuck.

There are several methods to achieve this and currently one of the most used for things like this is via geometry nodes.
Instead, one of ‘good old fashioned way’ could be this:

Create Brunched Curve | Bezier Curve or Path with Branches | Easy Technique | Blender Eevee & Cycles
