Working on this robot planet, Cybertron from transformers…Its supposed to be like damaged, any ideas as to what i can do to improve the render, and make it look more damaged?

Why not try the new microdisplacement build. Also google up “greeble” - technique that will serve your purpose perfectly.
If the scene is supposed to be damaged, you could add in a particle system to make some sparks.

do you use cycles?
you can use geometry/ pointiness and tangent into a math(sin cos or tan) into the mix value to make really nice mix maps to blend a scratch texture in,
you can even scale the mapping/angle to make it so the scratches mostly run the way they should.
