just finished this one,
this is my first ride with corel painter IX,and i love it,
the painting is so organic,feels just like the real thing,and the response is almost real time.
reference from a mag used,hmm cant remeber how mutch time i spent,cuz i was playng around with the new brushes and stuff.
hmm i really need to take some more time with the hair study…

Beautiful. Very seductive, but she doesn’t look very good at guitar. That’s just me, don’t try to change it. It just seems that anyone who plays guitar almost naked would not take it very seriously.
Also, you forgot the wire connecting the guitar to the amp.
Maybe she is instilled with such a sense of euphoria that she completely forgot to plug it in; she doesn’t care about the sound or music coming from the guitar, only the trifling pleasure of holding it.
That’s how I interpret it, anyway…
Very nice one --=leon=–, I really like the raw feel. Sure it could be improved but the atmosphere is quite good here. I have some stuff done in that theme as well from years ago, maybe I should dig it out.
A half-naked woman with an electric guitar, the two sexiest things on our planet, what can I say?
I spent all my teens and young adult life playing my guitar until my fingers bled. I would play it before going to sleep unplugged and I sleep in the nude (not as pretty an image as the painting, I know). Isn’t there a famous picture of John Lennon sitting naked in bed strumming his guitar?
As to this particular painting, here’s my interpretation:
It’s late at night, after the gig. He just picked her up at the club where he was playing. They’ve been making out, she’s out of most of her clothes. He get’s up to take a shower to wash off the “concert grease”, she stays in the bedroom. There’s a couple of guitars around, she picks one up and hops in bed and pretends to be a rock star, posing on the bed. The painting is how he finds her upon returning.

and she dosent look like she is playing (her hands arent even on any cord) it looks kinda like she is rubbing the gutair on the top (VERY TOP) of her leg with her eyes closed … but hey who am i to critisize i cant even draw a stick figure.
in my opinion it looks like some hot babe who bouight a gutiar and whats to be a rock star so she is pretending to be at a concert rocking on but she got a little to into it and here we are now she is on a pink fluffy bed posing for no one with a guitar between her legs… akward
Great job, I love the painted feel to it. My only crits are that her right elbow seems pinched (too narrow), her hair could have used more variations… and for the life of me, I can only seem to find one leg! Could somebody point it out to me?
