I’ve sculpted several animals and other artworks, but my real dream is to do stylised person sculpts. So I finally decided to practice with one.

I’d watched plenty of others do it, so I had a good workflow, and a basic understanding of facial anatomy (although there’s lots I don’t know). It felt like it flowed very naturally, and the only part I really struggled with was getting the hair to look good (which I ended up doing with curves). Plus a great concept by Cameron Mark.

Also as I’m just practicing sculpting, I’ve decided not to spend a while shading it, so for the moment the materials are going to be pretty simple.

It’s definitely not perfect, and I can see many areas to improve in already, but I’m happy with it.

Any critique would be greatly appreciated!
