rooll angle question

I have a rig I’ve been using since 2.40 and over time I have made adjustments to it in editmode, adjustments that are minimal, but I was always careful to reset the roll angles, today just for the sake of being careful although no edit mode changes have been made in months, I reset them in 2.45 and everything just went crazy animations were destroyed and bone trajectories were changed completely:eek:
the question is what has changed so drastically with the animation system that 2.43, 2.44-2.45 builds blows everything away and 2.41 seems to make those roll angle adjustment with minimal to no damage,
If I save the roll angle recalc. in 2.41 would I still encounter ploblems 2.45 in the future at the office now can’t really test but some advice would be good
