I’m using the “explosion” modifier on a quick animation I’ve made. I have an issue with it, though, and I’m not sure if it is fixable. I can’t get the shattered pieces to rotate, even after giving the particles a rotation. I’m using Blender 2.49b, and the file is attached to this post (assuming that I managed to attach it correctly…). Thank you for any help in figuring out how I can get the pieces to rotate when it explodes!
Alright, I see the angular velocity (making the pieces rotate), but now all the small bits appear to have boundaries the size of one vertex? Is there a way to make it so the exploded bits react as if they were convex hull boundaries?
Bump?
Is there a way to make it so that the rotating pieces stop rotating after a while (as if they were being dampened) and to also make it so that they act like full pieces when bouncing off of things, instead of just like a single point/vertex?
