Rotation to location

It’s me again. I was just happy thinking to use ipodrivers and afert an hour spent twicking on it i discovered it doesn’t function.

How can I take the rotation of an object (better if I can use degres over 360) and apply it to change the z location of another?

In this case i want the “rotating thing” to make two rounds to pull the pole op to the path level

Here is a good start on a script. This should do the trick.

I haven’t figured out how to make it so that it can go over 360 degrees. All the script does, is it takes the rotation of the object it is attached to, and applies it to the child object (defined by the child property) as movement.
