Rotational Velocity

I’m new to the blender game engine, but i have some programming knowledge. So I’ve decided to make a space combat game. Unfortunately, I’ve ran into a problem :(. There seems to be no straight forward way to measure angular velocity which is what I need to calculate how much torque to apply to the spacecraft. I have successfully gotten my ai to move the spacecraft towards an object by applying force, but I have had to simulate torque by gradually increasing the angular velocity to accurately point it at an object but still seem natural.


Oh, and if you need some special scripting, ask me. I’ve been programming for years now!

do you know about the track to actuator? that may do what you want.
