The actual title of the image is “Deterrence”.
I think that the background is still a bit bare at the moment, but it creates a nice contrast against the “core object” of the image.

for the main col - R 0.940, G 0.955, B 0.650
for cloud tex - R 0.400, G 0.550, B 0.000

Now that I looked again the image, I’d recommend you to use slightly darker version of the main col for the current cloud texture, and make a new layer of large cloud tex with the greener color
i agree, less green. also, there is some shiny silvery material in the eye sockets, should be less shiny.
so exactly what is this supposed to deter me from doing? it would prpbably work very well!

Less green! It looks a bit weird around the eyes and mouth, maybe make it bulge out a bit more around the eye sockets and the mouth. The teeth are too shiny; but otherwise great!

@thor: the shape of the face is a bit strange because it was my first full head model and I didn’t use facial front and profile pictures for reference in Blender, so I decided to make it look a bit more alien, like the face of the “Lurch” character from the Addams Family and that’s also the reason why the ears are elongated and the skin is so green. It was originally supposed to look like it was ripped off a living (alien) body just ten minutes ago or something like that.
@Gr8RedShark: the eye sockets aren’t empty, what you see are the white and slimey but also drying balls which were formerly the creature’s eyes.
So what is it supposed to deter you from doing? Maybe from disturbing whatever resides in the foggy dark background… However, who really wants to know? %|

Not a bad start i would say!!!
I will suggest a few gorey details tho…
First of all, there is no blood, and there as got to be blood!!! Out of his mouth, nose, eyes (possibly an eyeball hanging from one cheek), and most of all dripping from his severd neck and running down the pole!!!
Second, some little chunks of flesh, and stringy bits hanging down from underneath, possibly part of a few vertibre with a roughly severd cut.
And my final suggestion would be to loose the pearly white teeth all together and in its place have a swollen purple tounge with cuts and sores on it, possibly a fly or to crawing on its surface.
Keep working on it, and trying to improve it, your definatly doing something that most blender heads dont, and i like it!!!

looks tasty. but it doesnt look rotten for some reason. make some dried blood crust and maybe some mould…hmmmm… 
yeah, it needs cuts and general decaying wear and tear. this could be really awesome if you stick with it!
