Hello all, I’m sorry if this issue has appeared previously and i missed it. I was mostly using blender for modelling and have just started to branch into animation. The shader I’m using is attached below. The sun’s strength is set to 2.98. The curves are using a subdivision surface and the rendering is using EEVEE. Rough lines as shown in the circled areas continue to crop up. Side note, if anyone has a shader they’d like to share for anime cars or the like, I would be thrilled to see them.
My guess would be the topology. What does the mesh look like in wireframe? Generally speaking, topology should be neatly organized, avoiding tris or poles whenever possible, especially for a simple shape like a cube.
Thanks for responding! I switched my shader and it no longer appears on the green (though I’m now getting odd diagonal lines in the render). The topology is pretty clean, I think.
I think there is something odd going on with the shadow though. The white (even on a different texture) continues to have the same jagged lines.
