There is a 25 year old kid rowing a boat across the Atlanitc ocean to raise money for cancer research. I’ve been following his blog for a while now. He is almost complete with his journey. Quite an amazing accomplishment.

Wow. Didn’t know that was possible. How is he communicating with the mainland? Cell phone? Laptop?
He has a satellite phone and laptop. He did a CNN interview via satellite phone a few weeks ago and is planning to do another CNN interview live this Sunday March 22.
He also has an onboard radar type device called “AIS” that broadcasts his position so oncoming ships dont run him over.
wow. that is amazing, impressive, and inspiring.
I wouldn’t want to be in a storm in the middle of the ocean while in a rowboat.
