Can smooth transitions be done between scenes, weather it be fade in or fade through black?
what do you call smooth transition ?
You can try to make a fade with a plane and changing the alpha value in the ipo section.
Try using an overlay scene. I have a setup like this in my Zark demo and in the previous Zark game, you may want to look at some of my blends to see how they work.
Also, in the future please try not to create two threads that are so similar. This thread could easily have been part of your scene-changing thread.
