Rubik cube (now with anim)

I can’t remember if I posted this or not (it was a while ago), so I’ll go ahead and post it now. I searched through my posts, and couldn’t find anything…If I did already post this just hit me or something.

There’s an animation that goes with it, so I’ll see if I can get that up, too.

Praise it, tear it down, you know the drill…

I have tried to make such a cube, but the animating went wrong. Cause the different parts have to rotate everytime around a different point. Like to see the anim

I’m quite sure your cube is not “fully animatable”, right? I guess that would be nearly impossible.

They got it working somehow in xscreensaver.

Actually it is fully animatable. Muhahaha…

Here’s the anim: www.princeton.edu/~mplough/rubikweb.avi (408 K)
It’s bad compression, but the small file size helps you preview it. Of course the 37 MB raw version looks a lot better!!

NICE work.

heh, fully would be quite something - then again there must be games like that, so should we be getting into GameLogic next… ?-o

but nice work indeed.
