Runtime Being Weird

So I saved an .exe of a screensaver, then when I open it IN A FOLDER WITH NO RUNTIME FILES it will open it. It’s really wierd. I don’t know why it’s running without the runtime files.
Im pretty sure it needs them (don’t all exes made in Blender need them?)

can anyone tell me why this might be happening?

Maybe you have them on system32

i see what you mean. so if you have the runtime files in system 32, you don’t need them in the same folder as the exe. Thats kinda cool
