he looks way too skinny for a soldier or terrorist ,other then that its great .

Looks the right size to me. So much for world peace.

care with proportions.
good work

You could increase legs volume at least a bit (above knees). Try standing in front of mirror in that stance wearing trousers.

Great work, although he is a bit too skinny.

I think he looks pretty good so far, but like others suggested, he could use some more volume in places. Besides that, I was looking at HighLow.jpg and his legs look like they’re bowed out just below the knees… if you used the proportional edit and dragged the top edge of the boots in just a little, it might look better. That should also make the sides of the boots less perfectly vertical.

I did a quick paintover to show the spots I think need some adjustment. It looks like a lot of red (at least to me it does), but it should be only a few minutes with the proportional edit.

Haven’t taken a look at the rest of the project yet, so this probably wouldn’t fit, but I like the comic-ness of the sketch and wish some more of that came through in the model. Could just be a texture editing thing. So many “realistic” terrorist/counterterrorist/war… has flashback to Metal Gear Solid 4’s intro speech about war, shudders …not that there’s anything wrong with trying to be realistic, I just think a little bit of stylization can go a long way to make something more awesome.

I’ll just go back to lurking now… one of these days I’ll post something of my own :stuck_out_tongue:

This is extremely impressive!
I wouldnt know that this is supposed to be a low poly character!
The sculpting made it really stand out. I have no idea how to even begin to use the sculpt option to get details like that.
Maybe make a tutorial for the slow minded people like me

Nice work. Although you might wanna consider zdaters’ suggestions. The elbow is a bit too high up the arms. And also, add a couple more gadgets like extra bags for grenades and ammos and stuff.

I Prefer the leather style appararel , just as in the sculpt view , it looks more detailed in that way…

I think it looks very good. The only thing I’d say is that for pro work, you’d want to be more efficient with the textures. There are large areas in your maps which are blank. This is pretty wasteful. In a game you want to squeeze as must as you can out of the limited resources.
