Can anyone give me feed back on how to make the rust texture look more realistic
What the hell, did’t I already reply to this thread with several others?
so to be brief this time:
- for now, stick with textures (find some seamless)
- rust needs gloss as well
- plugging generated texture coordinates as a factor to mix node seems wrong, you are probably missing a noise texture there
- use color ramps and combine noise textures of several sizes to achieve better details.

I am not sure how to help you more, I would completely redo your whole setup, therefore I think it is best if you study some of those links I sent you, make something out of those techniques and perhaps then post your result and we can think about it further.
