No…He started in Infini-D, though he may have “upgraded” to carrara.
I suspect it could be done in blender, & his approach/philosophy is certainly in line with this community.

That’s easy. He thought it was Blender because he took the time to look at the pretty pictures but was too lazy to read the text below them which tells exactly what software was used.

I never assume. Yes, it’s a Blender community. But it’s a community of people interested in 3d graphics, in general. So, many of us are interested in seeing work done in “any” packeges. Because of that, you will often see links to work done in other packages.
Jealus? No, not jealus. Not “jealous” either :). Just amazed that you took the time to look at the Rustboy images but rather than reading the text that accompanied those images you decided to come back to this forum and ask what software was used. You could have had the answer in about a minute if you had simply looked yourself.

I thought Rustboy was well known so I hesitated at posting anything about it. The Apple feature had a few sequences I had not seen before.

Wow what a coincidence. I was checking out rustboy today when I was looking at Carrara.
On the grasshopper pick “cricket” how could you blur the grass bades in the foreground in Blender? Also has anyone used Carrara before?
I’d also be interested in knowing if anyone has used carrara…

How should you take being called lazy? Maybe you should stop and consider “why” I called you that. There “was” a reason to call you that. You admit you looked at the images but never bothered to read the text. Then, a few seconds later, you are in here posting asking if Blender was used to create the images. You were either lazy (not necessarily all the time, but in this case anyhow) or very thick. Why should someone spend their time answering your question when the answer was right there on the page with the images? Apparently, you think that’s just fine. You probably are thinking “Why should I read all that text when I can just ask someone else to do it for me?”.
