A month or so ago all I got was a completely black screen when logging on with Safari browser. I had not made any changes to my config and don’t have any extensions but it just failed for no apparent reason. Clearing out the cache and trying private mode did not get rid of the black screen, only there was some text from the cookies function that indicated there must have been some HTTP activity. Bart tried the latest version of Safari and said it works for him. I have no problems with Chrome on the same machine. Attached is some Safari error reports that indicate where the transactions fall over. It looks like it timed out while loading a very large font resource file. Anyone else with the same issue?

I can’t reproduce this - do you still have this error? Are you using any browser extensions that might interfere in some way?
