A sculpt of Saint Jerome. Tried to create a realistic clay sculpture. Sculpted in zbrush, rendered in blender cycles
Base and clay materials from zbrushguides.
Very nice!
I guess that I’m not familiar with the religious tradition of “Saint Jerome.”
Thanks! Happy you liked it
Now you are Jerome of Stridon, was a Christian priest, confessor, theologian, and historian; he is commonly known as Saint Jerome.
Looks good… nice work
Thank you!
What are the pipes?
Great sculpt. The weathered wood material is good too.
These are supposed to hold a clay sculpture together (it holds the intrrnal structure) here it’s just for presentation. This is a great base by zbrushguide, look him up
Wow this is inspirational, well done. I’m in love with the detail.
Thank you!
I featured you on BlenderNation, have a great weekend!
Sick work! Great job!
Very nice work!
I love that you set up this piece as if it were an actual sculpture and art installation. Also I really like the clay plaster on the subject’s shoulders. Great job!
Nice.
Blender sculpt not a viable option for this?
Thanks Bart!
it’s probably is, but I’m just used to sculpt in zbrush
