Same Blender project looks different in Windows and Mac OS

Hello. I have a project that contains the KiryToonShader Ver2 material (you can download the project file from the creator’s page).
It is not a plugin or a script, but simply a complex material made using only Blender material nodes.

It was not intended for Blender 4.2 LTS, but on Windows, after a wait, it opens, works, and looks correct, just as it did before in 4.1.

However, on Mac OS, in the same Blender 4.2 LTS, the same project file looks incorrect. Even if I resave the project file using Windows and Blender 4.2 LTS, it still opens incorrectly on Mac OS.

Could you advise what might be the problem and is there a way to fix it?


In the screenshot I have different viewport shading in win and mac but it doesn’t make any difference. Any viewport shading does not display the shader correctly on Mac OS.

The problem is not present in Blender 4.2.1 LTC RC.
Can anyone tell what the issue was? Was it some kind of bug?
