"Sangraal" (WIP for WC70: done)

Here’s the very beginning of a scene I’ll be working on for the Weekend Challenge (“Medieval Times” theme). This scene will be about the Holy Grail and will (I hope) depict a Grail Vision (i.e. an instance where the Grail appears to knights as in Arthurian legend) and will be called “Sangraal.” There’s not much to show right now, but this will form the centerpiece of the scene, which will include at least one knight and some other stuff:

The Grail will be more detailed as well. More updates to be posted…

Looks cool man. Good so far, now for a suit of armor, eh? :stuck_out_tongue: I am contemplating doing something Arthurian as well as you may have guessed from my avatar.

Thanks, Modron. I’m starting on that…

So much to do yet…

Cool, it looks like you’re doing Excalibur. Can’t wait to see it

Thanks, varg! I haven’t updated my main Blender website in a while with new images (I’ll get to that eventually, as there are a number of new ones), but I’ve been participating regularly in the Weekend Challenge thread here at Elysiun. I actually won the contest a week before last  For a while now I’ve been making a concerted effort to try to get better yet at Blender and 3d graphics in general. I think I’ve made some progress in the past few months. I actually came in fifth place in this year’s Blender F1 contest, so I’ve been very busy with Blender

Okay, no more updates – it’s finished

If anyone wants to check out the final version I posted it in the Finished Projects area of this forum.

Thanks everyone for the encouragement and interest
