I don’t know why, but I have this strange attraction to sanguine (blood drinkin’) vampire chicks. I notice that even though I am on the opposite spectrum of the vampire beliefs and stuff we share similar likes and stuff.

Here’s a list of they’re traits.

You might be a vampire if…

  • You have a strong desire for and/or Stimulation by blood (sexual, revitalizing or otherwise) -Yes

  • You have a nameless craving that can never quite be fulfilled -Yes

  • People you get close to tend to become tired, weary and upset a lot around you -Yes, but only when I start touching them.

  • People tend to find you interesting at first, then begin to avoid you -Nope, people love me and love me and love me, but then there are people who hate and hate me and hate ma, people who want to see me hurt and bleed real bad.

  • Even when surrounded by others, you always feel alone -I gues not, if I do it’s cause I don’t have a g/f, pretty stupid reason if you ask me.

  • Sunlight/bright light in general hurts your eyes (but you can go out in it, even so) -Heck yes!

  • You tend to be a night person by nature (because you may feel more comfortable and “alive” at this time) -True usually

  • You have had a strong interest in vampires(in any aspect of the genre) probably since puberty onwards -Eh, I’ve tried to avoid it.

  • You have had a strong interest in vampires since a traumatic event occured in your life -Nope

  • You don’t get sick often, or if you do, the maladies are often strange or severe -Yes, only in the winter, I’m allergic to cold air, the flu does’nt bug me niether does poison ivy

  • You are a fast healer -Yep, I’m like wolverine baby, lol, nah, I heal fast, good imune system I guess

  • Sex tends to leave you feeling revitalized and full of energy -Never had it, would’nt know

  • You have drank blood before or would like to, if you could -Yes, I have drank blood before

  • You enjoy imbibing sexual fluids because of the vitality they contain -I don’t know what the word “imbibing” means, but I’m sure I would not drink sex fluids

  • Electrical appliances and you don’t generally tend to get along well (watches stop often, computers malfunction for no reason, microwaves start up by themselves, etc) -No, but they used to and I have a friend who screws up electric stuff all the time and her dad can’t wear an electric watch or it will start going backwards.

  • You prefer rich fabrics, tastes, scents etc. -Yes

  • You are very sensitive to sensory extremes (strong scents, rough textures, sour tastes,etc) -Yes

  • You feel totally different on some elemental,intuitive level to most other human beings -Yes, I’m a dragon lol sorry, just had to do it. No I don’t.

  • You feel you don’t belong in this century, maybe even this world -Do any of us really feel we belong?

  • You believe in reincarnation and maybe even have had past life visions -I don’t believe in reincarnation, but I think that visions of the past are possible and I believe I may have had them.

  • You easily “trance out” or find yourself detached from the world -So do most blondes, they’re airheads lol. I guess, but that’s probably due to my social oukwardness.

  • People tell you that you are too intense/an “enigma”/“dark hole”/add similar phrase here -They usually tell me I’m too smart and that I’m a prophet and crap like that.

  • You can see and/or read auras -Nope, however I do notice the slight light distortion around stuff. It’s a natural thing most people don’t really notice it, but I have fun staring at ceilings.

  • Animals tend to get along well with you -Yep, dogs love me. But not cats.

  • You have good, natural “magickal” abilities (if you do spells, etc, usually they work) -LOL I think that stuff is a bunch of malarky myself, not meaning to bash other peopls beliefs, but just concerning my own personal experiences with the stuff.

  • You have only one or two friends/lovers who really understand you and whom you get along with -Hmm, I guess so, but then agian I feel no one really gets me, I’m pretty sure Kerri does.

  • When you will things to happen, they usually do -Sadly yes

  • You feel sick/get rashes/etc in the daytime when the sun is shining -Nope, I love the warm feeling of the sun, but I do get sunburns, like most peoples

Yep I also like techno and the whole rave scene, however I’d never do drugs. I also used to dress similar to vampires, but I don’t anymore, pretty much the opposite, but I think chicks that dress that way are hot.

So my question is what is your whole take on this thing?

LOL, well according to the documentary I watched they’re just like everyone else, they die like everyone else, they live like everyone else, except some drink blood, do psychic stuff and some have problems with the sun. At least that’s what they tell us.

Everyone: Just to clear things up a little: Vampirism is NOT anything like otherkin (if they actually do exist) They don’t claim to be anything other than humans who have certain specialised tastes. It’s also not a cult or religion although some do put a spiritual emphasis upon the blood. I kind of do, maybe it’s just a romanticised view of it, I’m not sure. To me the sharing of blood is basically the sharing of your life’s essence.

Aura is just another name for electromagnetic field. Spiritualists say it connects or subconscious, scientists say it’s physical. Either way it’s just something that connects everything, not just humans. The name doesn’t really matter

I don’t think there’s actually anything wrong with the whole otherkin thing. I highly doubt it, but they may be right. So long as they don’t sacrifice anybody to draconic deities or (in the case of vampires) kill somebody to consume their blood then i see nothing wrong with either. Draconity is no less viable than countless more accepted religions.
I’ve already seen the contact lenses like that. They look weird.

I think the chicks that work and shop at Hot Topic and wear he fangs and stuff are hot. It’s a turn on and it’s the exact opposite of my style. I understand people wanting to be something other than human, lots of things in life suck, but we gotta make do with what we have, some of us make doo doo though.
