I have been using Blender for about 10 months now, and I have been using it for 3D modeling and animations, which I use the default layout for. However, I have recently started video editing with Blender, and I need a different layout for that. The layout that I use is a modified version of the included Video Editing layout, and I would like to save it. I do not want to do Ctrl-U to save it to startup, as I will still be doing 3D modeling and animations. Any help is appreciated.
Create the custom or new layout (dropdown at top of the blender interface). Seelct the layout you want to bethe default when opening blender and then save the startup file (Ctrl+U).
