I did what TutorialsforBlender3d said, and nothing happened? Is the .bgeconf file hidden? And can you specify which global dictionary to save? It said is takes zero arguments. . .

ah i was looking for this a few days ago, what i did was to run the saveGlobalDict logic brick once and it generated the .bgeconf file, then everything ran nicely
edit: the save global dict logic brick is inside the game actuator logic brick
another edit:
no you cant, there is only one global dict, what the guy is doing there is storing diferent dictionaries inside the globalDict
If you save the global dictionary the .bgeconf will be created in the same folder were the blend is saved
