saveing objects back to blender from bge

Im working on a game which features lots of object instances that the user can move around and assemble into different configurations.

Would it be possible to save that assembly in the game engine back into blender? This is so i can create a better rendering of the scene, rather than use screenshot, and also export a dxf.

You could try saving a text file from the game engine that stores object name/location/orientation on a keypress then write a script to be used from Blender that reads the text file and duplicates/translates the objects.
