saving uv coords doesn't work?

Alright so I make my model in blender and uvwrap it in blender. I export a sweet texture for it. When I try to open it (don’t laugh) in a program called Game Maker it crashes it. Now if I open it in uvmapper classic and give it a new uvmap it will work just fine. Uvwrappers model is around 130kb and blender’s is only 40kb… there’s something wrong somewhere. I don’t know if I’m not doing it right or what.
