This is my first post in finished projects. Not because I leave my projects in limbo all the time but mostly because I see so many posts that are heads and shoulders above all of mine. But I decided to take a leap of faith this time since it is going to be my entry for the Blender Guru competition. So thank you for looking and of course C&C are welcome even though it is finished for now.

I don’t understand the saw dust in the scene? It looks like an error in an otherwise nice composition.
It is dusk; the sun is going down on childhood. It is too dark though, or not contrasty enough.

He can have a problem with the monitor calibration or quality.
I like most of the light image you posted
Looks to me like you could be posting in Finished Projects more often 
Some like it hot and some like it cold, I think the lighting is spot on.
