Scale an armature with IK

I just notice that with rigify, when I scale the armature, the Ik don’t follow properly. So I tried to recreate a setup manually and the same problem appear.

Is it possible to scale a rigged character with IK in pose mode without having problem with the IK solver?

I’m assuming that in the edit mode the length of the chain is set and so in pose mode when you scale it down, this value doesn’t follow.

yeah. i have had this problem too. looking some rigs i have for reference. the bunny of big buck bunny, the ik leg of big buck bunny it works after scale the armature. but the face goes wrong. have a look
