Scale Keyframes Uniformly

Heyyo,

Hope u are doing good…

Well, I want to scale a bunch of adjacent keyframes uniformly in my timeline instead of manually adjusting each one of them. Is there any way?

I know that we can select multiple keys and press S on my timeline, but I noticed that it does not scale evenly. So just wondering if there’s a way, and who better to ask this amazing community of artists.

Hi,

Hi @goorman

Thanks for sharing the link. However, my problem was in scaling the Keyframes(ie. to reduce or increase the timing of an animation in the timeline) and the link shares ideas to scale up a rig across all keys.

Apologies for not being clear in the first place

Hi,

Maybe something like this?

How do you mean ‘does not scale evenly’ ???
I assume you know the scaling is based on the current frame (the blue line). And that part is working OK.
So are you having keyframes snap to frames as you scale? You can go into the Dope Sheet / Graph Editor / Action editor and in the Header Bar set Nearest Frame to No Auto Snap. But that is a dangerous thing to do… It may cause unexpected results in the future.
Or has the stack.exchange link provided by Sergey solved the problem?

Hi @goorman, thanks that helped.

Hey @Matakani, yaa the Blender Stack exchange article helped me to figure out my issue
