scale -screw problem

i’v drawn a screw with a diam of around 1 B.U

if yout ake this has being 1 BU = 1 Meter
that is a hec of a screw:eek:

and 1 wanted to draw a little screw with a diam of around 10mm

so i scaled down my 1 meter screw down to about 10 mm

but losted most a the fine detal that i had at 1 meter

is this normal :confused:
and ehat going on there :confused: ?

Blender models shouldn’t lose any geometric detail as you scale the model smaller. Can you post a blender file or an image file so that we know exactly what is going on?
