This was a test of a scale sculpt that I planned to bake to a normal map. After I created a tiled brush I decided to test it out.
I have to say, I’m less then impressed with the final result. I partly blame it on the irregular scales, At the time I though I could get away with doing a slapdash job. Not to mention my unwillingness to turn on the X-symmetry (I actually thought keeping it turned off would result in a more realistic look).
