I don’t know if the issue has been discussed before; I hope not. If so, I beg you pardon, I didn’t really know what to search for to describe this issue and limit the search to a number of results under a few thousand.
The issue I ran into; very frustrating; is that when I extrude certain selected vertices, and then scale them; the vertices they’re attached to but aren’t selected, get pulled with.
The frustrating thing about this is:
- This seems to happen on random occasions. Either that, or I’ve, with my limited logical capabilities, not yet been able to grasp the pattern in this weird behaviour… -_-
- I can’t seem to find a way to disable/ridden myself of this “feature”, whatever you may call it.
- It screws up my objects when I feel like rescaling a few vertices.
I couldn’t tell you how exactly to reproduce this behaviour, I just hope any of you have witnessed/heard of it before. It seems be able to happen with just grabbing as well; and I’m not even certain whether it has something to do with the extrusion.
Ps./ I don’t know, but could it have something to do with the difference between the extrusion of regios as opposed to edges? I didn’t quite grasp the difference between those two yet and have been mixing them randomly.
Assistance more than greatly appreciated.

Edit./ It seems to occur when I extrude to only a very small distance from the original vertices.
