scaling issue with full model

Hey

Just would like to know how to re scale a whole model that has lights include. I can scale the model, however when I begin the animation, the lights on the model will revert back to what it was before I scaled it, so this means that the lights are out in the middle of nowhere.

Light object needs to be a child of whole model to scale with it.

When made child, the location with respect to the main model scale with it but not light intensity.
