scaling object along the path

I was trying to scale multiplied object along the path by use “follow path” or dupliframes. I need object to be smallest at the beginning and the end of path, growing bigger toward the centre of path. Someone advise me to use keyframes and after adjust it in graph editor. It seems to be simple but in practise I cannot do it.

Any idea how else I could solve it?

Hi “Designarch”

At first i can tell that i don’t know a lot of blender i’m only interested in modeling and game engine in this program. And you have good site i seen some 360 imiges a bit and Athens megapoly land. Look like hand crafted project you don’t used particles to spawn objects? Answer and i will help for you.

Here is two examples. First uses array and curve modifiers and the second uses dupliframes. Middle curve handle is scaled with alt+s in both.

object_along_path_scale.blend (447 KB)

So simple! Thank you

Sorry, I missed your post I don’t know how

Yes, Athens was a hand made city. When I started this project I didn’t know much about Blender at all. I would use particles now to spread so many object around such a big topography but before I did that by simple object’s copy and adjust it on the ground.
