Well… you don’t see much of the attack or the shark.
All you can hear is a lot of screaming while the camera is spinning.

Well, you can see where her legs were and you see the shark going right through them and then there’s a pool of blood and you know she lost a leg. Scenes can be more horrific when you don’t see it all because your imagination fills in the blanks. It’s an old clip though and it’s been shown a few times on TV.
Can you imagine the scene when she was pulled out of the water with her arteries and veins hanging loose from the end of her severed limb. Blood pouring out and a hint of bone showing. The victim writhing about and screaming due to the loss of balance you get and the inability to put pressure on the leg.
There was another scene that was filmed for TV and I think it was probably more graphic. They were actually filming sharks and saying how unlikely it is to be attacked by one and they were filming under shallow water. Then this shark just bit the presenter’s leg and he lifted it out the water and you saw all the bits hanging off it. It wasn’t severed but there was a huge chunk missing.
I found a website that has a bazillion pictures of shark attack victims and stuff.
Well I think Its scary… uargh,
Damn man, never want to see someone loose his/her leg or loose a leg myself.
