Scene based time remapping/time warp?

Hi,
I was just wondering if there was a feature in blender whereby you could remap the flow of time on a scene-wide basis.

This would be similar to After Effects’ Time Remap function, and Maya’s recently added Time Warp.

It would enable you to speed up, slow down and reverse any animation that takes place.

I am aware of the Time IPO feature in 2.49 (which I can’t find in 2.5). But that function seems to be on an object level basis. There is also Map Old/Map New, but that does not let you edit a curve to precisely adjust time values.

Anybody aware of such a feature?

Thanks

Mabe not exactly what you are looking for but related: http://blenderartists.org/forum/showthread.php?t=180095&page=2

You need to apply the patch and compile blender yourself as of yet though.

You might get a build here soon - http://blenderartists.org/forum/showthread.php?t=203292&goto=newpost

if make a NLA track of the animation, you can scale the animation 0.1 being 10% slowdown, etc. and reverse animation also.

Very true indeed
