Scene not rendering and crush app

Hi, I really need help.

So I’m creating a cartoon and the project has already taken me 60 hours. I ran into a problem where 3 of my scenes rendered normally, but the key scene with the living room doesn’t render and just shows a chessboard.

I asked the AI for different options on how to fix this, I searched myself, but I didn’t find anything.

I don’t understand anymore what I’m doing wrong so that the scene doesn’t load. I checked everything, but the image doesn’t appear, it doesn’t even render a clean cube. And when I try to launch and close the render window, the program freezes and I have to turn it off through the task manager.

Please tell me what I’m doing wrong and where to look to fix the problem?

Welcome! :vulcan_salute: Could you please post some screenshots of the file open? How big is the file? What do you mean by chessboard, is it an actual chess board object in the scene, or do you mean transparent background pattern etc? What technique have you used, are you using 3d objects and characters, or 2d graphics? And do you mean that the scene does not load so it won’t even open? Or do you mean it won’t render an image? Are you using Eevee or Cycles? How long have you waited for the rendering to finish or a window to close? Does it crash so that Blender closes by itself?

I’m not sure what the problem is, lack of information…
The shape of the chessboard is a transparent state in which rendering is in progress, or where rendering is complete but nothing is rendered.

To verify that rendering is in progress, check the information displayed at the top left of the rendering window.
Alternatively, it can be seen by the progress mark displayed at the bottom of the center of the blender window.

If rendering of the blender collides in progress, check the amount of VRAM or RAM used.
If the amount of VRAM or RAM available is exceeded, the blender is terminated.

Hi, here are my 3D scene and camera settings, I use Cycles, I did everything manually, I created each model. The chessboard is what I have in the render, I have a transparent background, I waited for the render to start for up to 10 minutes, but still nothing started. In the render field, only the unknown amount of time is written until the end.

The application hangs in the “Not responding” status when trying to close the render window and I have to end the process through the task manager and the application does not hang. The blender file size is 35.1 MB, since I use one file for four scenes.

Below I have provided skins of my settings, I responded to my messages so as not to spam you with notifications

Please forgive me for sending screenshots in such pieces, I am a new user and I can only send 2 files

Hi, the problem is that when I start rendering, the background is completely transparent, the camera is set up, I did everything as in the previous scenes and nothing is displayed. In the task manager, blender does not use any PC resources, CPU, GPU and RAM at all, the render does not bother me at all.

As if it does not start at all (

Hi,

Try another version of Blender (here you can find all Blender releases so far), and do render from that exact version once again. I’ve heard people were complaning about 4.5.1 a lot, perhaps it has something to do with it.

Also, make sure your Blender uses GPU, not CPU or both (but for testing you can turn on CPU only), and all your drivers are up-to-date.

Also also, check your crash log file and see what it says. How to find it, read here.

In the attached image, render layer is confirmed, but it is not confirmed that there are multiple Scenes.
If you have used multiple Scenes, you need to check the composition of Composing.
If it is not connected to the output, nothing will be rendered.

scene

This is how my composition looks like, there is no additional scene for rendering to add it, and if I manually add it as in your screenshot, then nothing changes

сам Blend не хочешь скинуть? проще глянуть будет

Только так могу кинуть, ссылкой на гугл диск
(This is the only way I can send it, with a link to Google Drive)

Можешь перезалить фаил? он у меня 5 версий блендера при открытии крашит, и если апенднуть, то крашит на 2 сценах когда пытаюсь их выбрать

А как лучше перезалить просто на диск ?

On my pc it loads for like 4 minutes because of particles(50k_x10). And for render its set to 50k_x50)

You cant render because blender probably stuck on this values to even initialize it, my 8700k and 4090 refuse even to start render on such values even after like 20 minutes of preparing render single frame.

Its pretty renderable with lower amount of particles like 5 on children (ps delete lower face on a carpet, noone will see hairs through the ground, this will also make hairs on top more dence)

and u forgot to shade smooth middle duck

Thank you so much, you saved my 20 hours of life. At some point I gave up on the idea that carpet particles could ruin the render. Finally my scene is created
