Scenes, the scene thread

Scenes in blender can have many uses and it would be good for people to post their thoughts and workflows regarding scenes.

The idea of this thread is to discuss and share info regarding scenes.

What have I used scenes for?
I have already posted a couple of examples on another thread (that was off topic ……LOL). Here is a link:

I find it useful to make different scenes with all (or most) of the objects linked except for the cameras and lights. That way I can flip through the scenes and see different camera views with their specific lighting. For example with cameras inside and outside of a building. Maybe we should start a new thread to share different things you can do with scenes as there are many possibilities. I have posted on your instancing thread (which is very interesting) about instancing animated collectio…

This is just a taste to hopefully get things going.
