What AVI Codec?
Maybe the guys don’t have that CODEC
Blender Avi codec… You mean AVI jpeg?
It is only a video codec, it doesn’t threat the sound.
Blender AVI jpeg is the MAIN CONCEPT Video Codec.

blender don’t adds it when you render
you’ll need to press mixdown at blender sound panel(render panel sub-tabs)
