Sci-fi Armor Concept (video tutorial added)

Master piece. Thanks for sharing your knowledge and push blender always further

@ndy , could you explain the workflow about mirror modifier and kitbashing? I saw some of the many objects are not mirrored but many of them are.
How do you manage such large amount of objects?
When you kitbash, do you use it in mirror modifier also?

Fantastic! Really good work!

Hello, thanks everyone for the encouraging replies!

While I was working on this, I only worked on one side and didn’t really worry about mirroring until after the fact. But with that many objects I would probably use the Mirror Object and mirror everything around one empty.

cheers!

Outstanding!! Looking forward to watching your walkthrough-video. Awesome!

Thank you and sorry for grammar mistakes.

Can you mirror everything around empty in one go? Do you have to select every object and use mirror mod on it?

Wow! So this is the first thing I see when I come here… walks off dragging his tail…

Wow the texturing on this is amazing!

Nice! Could you make a tutorial?

You can always copy the current object’s modifiers to all selected objects with CTRL+L, so that’s what I would do in that case.

Hi, yes! I posted the walkthrough tutorial in the first post.

Predator meets Oblivion! amazing work!
