I am currently working on my first proper hard surface model, a Sci-Fi space craft. The initial blocking out stage is complete and I now have a basic shape I am happy with.
I am currently working on adding the details, the first area I am working on are the guns. The guns have been through several variations, this being the third or fourth. Out of all the designs this last one is my favourite.
I have included some images, the first image, Twin Plasma, are the first guns I made, however they went a bit steam punk so I remodelled them. I eventually ended up with Twin Plasma MK II, much sleeker and they fit better with the overall design of my ship.
There is still a lot of work to do such as adding all the details, however I am happy with my new guns. I would appreciate any and all criticism and any links you may have found for creating hard surface models and adding details.
