erm, she’s orange.
turn down the spec, and set the bump-mapping (nor) to a lower depth
Mostly it’s a good model, but I have a lot of little to medium crits.
The skin is orange and has too much spec as already pointed out. The lips texture just looks weird (I think it’s the pale white part at the top of the upper lip). The bump map on the skin is too large, she has huge pores and (hairs?). The skin around the mouth and eyes is a lighter color, which looks weird.
Some of the hair (particularly the front) is very blurry.
I don’t even know what’s wrong with the left breast, it looks like it’s half the size of the right one. The bumpmaps on the nipples have the nor value too high.
The outfit in the last two is pretty crappy looking in my opinion. Sorry to say but I want to be honest. The backgrounds don’t fit either.
The facial expression in the last shot isn’t very good.
The mesh of the body looks great, but I think the backgrounds and outfit are really bring the whole thing down. Reminds me of mid-ninties CG girls that popped up all over the place on the internet. I think if you fix your texturing, make some real scenes with Blender, and scrap and redo the outfit, you’ll have a great model.
nice realizm touch with the acne scars!
It looks like the armature bones for the thighs may be a little to low. I think they would look more natural in that last image if the hip joints were a little higher.
Not to be rude but the bump maps on her make her look nasty. It’s not her color, but the texturing. Especially on her nipples you could turn the bump down, or the displacement down if you have it on.
How come people model the tits if they’re going to be covered up?
because people like modeling breasts ![]()
because people like modeling breasts ;)
I guess. Some people say that they like nude people cause they’re beautiful, and not because they get the giggles looking at boobies and hot dogs. Not so I say.
My thots:
First, great job so far… much better than I could/would pull off!
Nice: hair, background.
Needs: proportions tweaked. (Her head’s a little too small, her legs & arms too short, her neck too long, etc.) Texture around the lips tweaked (the pink lipstick is overflowing a bit, eh?) And I agree with the orange. A healthy tan can be appealing, but not so much when it comes out of a bottle. Her “relationship” with her scene/environment needs to fit better. What’s the story you’re telling here?
her abs look male. hair shadow should be raytraced ?
Might start from scratch again, this was just a bit of a rush to see what I could do with what I had available. Not that theres anything wrong with the tools. I guess I just need more time & some helpfull critisism. This was my first attemp at doing a person (lifelike) & trying to follow tutorials.Just takes practise I guess.
I think it looks pretty darn good. Maybe post just a simple render with no background and no textures on the model and a wireframe image. Give a better idea of the model’s surface structure.
wow, great job!! better than i could ever do!
and to all of the people who didn’t like the other color, i suggest looking at the topic name “SCI-FI” is in it…meaning its not supposed to be realistic.
secondly, if i could have this e-mailed to me so i could see the structure and wireframe poly’s and mess around with it a bit it would be much appreciated (no i’m not gonna steal it an call it my own, i jus want some insight on how to better model a female body.
thanks!
th way i see it, the skin color isn’t really the problem, its the way it shines, and they way differant tones dont really match.
I hate to be a jerk, but do you think michelangelo, and DeVinci painted and sculpted the human body just for kicks? If it isn’t being used for porn, the naked human body is just as beautifull as a flower, or a tropical bird, or a ferrari. if you truely think that its all for a laugh, you need to grow up. And if you were kidding…you need to gow up…so there.
right… I think naked man buttocks are beautifal too.
(reviving dead topic to yell and curse)
Fuck you jack ass.
It’s probably practical to model the clothes seperately and parent them, so that you have a small group of simpler shapes in stead of one big, difficult to seam one. Also, textures get infinitely simpler.
