scooby needs help

Scooby needs some help…

He has no arms or legs. I’m not sure which way I should model them. Should it be spread out like when you model bodies, or down like he is sitting? Comments, suggestions

I would suggest adding the armatures with the position he is mostly going to be in, I would say that would be standing on all 4’z. That way the mesh looks best in his most natural poses and you dont have to fight with the deformation too too much except when he is doing something extreem, ie human type moves Scooby is known for, like wiping his brow etc…
Your pic is looking great, it kinda dosent fully look like Scooby, but im sure thats easily fixed with a little tweeking here and there.

Looks very good so far. Don’t forget to put a couple odd wiskers on his chin.

You know they actually have a real dog treat called Scooby Snacks now.
