Scorpion

A project I did the past month. The likeness is based on Hiroyuki Sanada as Hanzo Hasashi from Mortal Kombat 2021. Skin details are hand-sculpted in Zbrush using HD Geometry and baked at 8k x 4 UDIM 32-bit displacement. Textures are painted in Substance and clothes are done in Marvelous Designer. The final render was done in cycles with a lot of crashing (pushed my measly 8GB card to the limit) and further post-processed in Photoshop.

Great especially face … but what definitely takes all your hard work down is pose … not even I can imagine more dramatic gesture, but current pose seems to be somehow unnatural … probably how hands holds the chain … ?
