Since long time I think about that: I’m using Reaper daw tool: http://www.reaper.fm to make my sound design work, and It contains a similar Screen layout feature called Windowset. I find it more useful because in Blender if you’re are modifying a layout in your project and now you want to recall it, it doesn’t not reset to what you saved originally but save the current status of the modified layout. In my opinion it will be better to recall the layout for what it was supposed to be at first… ?!
