Sorry, but I think they are just ok. A bit standard…kind of boring. Add some interesting items. I mean that in a positive way…a critique, not an insult of any kind. Add some architecture and nice textures etc…

This is just the beginning of it. I just started modeling and texturing (hand painting my textures) a few days ago. I will add many more objects and I will have a bunch of alpha blood effects on some objects and walls. It’s gonna take a lot of work.
The poly count for the first 2 rooms is currently a little over 4,000. I’m planning on making each loading zone (each few rooms is split apart to load separately for better performance) into at least 10,000 poly. That kinda gives you an idea how much more detail I will put into it

I dunno man, I think the emptiness is actually kind of frightening.

Why did you not just post these in your first thread?

and plus…
you want the levels to be sort of empty for lots of enemies. You can’t really be shooting at 50 different mutant animals when theres a crate or barrel or whaterver thats always in the way. it needs to be kinda empty

And I doubt you can fit 50 enemies in one room…

Not with any form of advanced AI.

do you need “advanced” AI when ur fighting 50 enemies in a single room

i was exaggerating when i said 50. it will probably be around 10 or something.
and the ai will be pretty simple. nothing too complicated

haha I remember when I was playing zelda :TP on the GC, at one time almost 20 monsters appeared at the same time and the game lagged! But then again I guess the AI was pretty complex.

i like your dark theme but the walls fells somehow a bit… empty.

I think once the walls have some kind of texture it will look more complete. Looks a little… awkward right now. Not bad though!

ya it does look kinda wierd. i’m still going to fix up the wall textures a bit. i’m surprised that most of the textures look ok even. the most time i spend on paining a texture is around 10 minutes. lol
