What I’d like to know is… What’s appropriate licensing for Blender scripts?
I’d like to license my scripts as permissively as possible whilst still conforming to the expectations of the Blender community and developers.
My current thinking is that any scripts that I write that are to be run from Blender itself will be licensed under the GPL v2 license and any scripts that I write that are to be run from Blender Game Engine will be licensed under an MIT license so they will not conflict with either the GPL of Blender or any other licensing of the games themselves should my scripts prove useful enough for commercial games at some point.
How does this licensing philosophy sound to people?
