Scripts?

Perhaps now is a good time to ask.

What exactly is a script?

It’s a set of instructions that tells Blender to do things that would take forever to do manually, or they can convert file types, or they can introduce special modelling/texturing tools. Our scripts use the Python scripting language to do this.

also there are some scripts packed into this latest version of blender in the mesh menu. go into edit mode >> mesh ( pullup menu ) >> scripts.
<edit> oh yeah i should have mentioned there are some others in there too, like for UV stuff like the UV paint script, which can be accessed in the UV editor window.

or you can just access the pre-bundled scripts from the [scripts] window.
