Sculpt 33 feedback and advice welcome!

My latest finished sculpt from my journey into character design. i think i’ve got the basic face proportions in my head now but the little details like ears are still tricky to me. Hopefully 4.3 will have vdm assets and I can make some nice ears and resuse them for all my projects.

hair is a bugger. I’m using curves here and its quite repetitive and finickity to use the curve handles.

I really want a workflow that proceduralises this as much as possible. geonode eyebrows and lashes exist but the one I bought is quite slow and unstable.

What should I focus on next?

Nose looks odd, like the tip is too far away from the nostrils. A stylization choice?

Recycling mostly. I don’t have VDMS, but I do have a collection of body parts that I use as a starting point so I don’t have to start from scratch every time. Especially things like hands and ears. Ears are hard.

you mean, retopologized meshes or sculpts for body parts?

and yeah the nose was a stylization choice. The reference was an anime girl and it went a bit wierd. Maybe i shouldnt have had nostrils at all

Sculpts. Although I also have a handful of retopogized humanoid meshes that I use for after the sculpt’s done.
